CHRISTOPHER STROUT (1655-1714)

Cape Cod Founding Settler

The first Strout born in America, Christopher was likely the product of Truro, England's Anthony Strowte/Strout and Mary Oliver. He is shown in tax and burial records to have been one of Eastham, MA's original English settlers, though his children left for Maine's whaling industry when they came of age.
